Why did you decide to pursue a residency? I decided to pursue a residency to further my knowledge and confidence as a pharmacist, which will allow me to care for patients to the best of my ability. Residency allows for exposure in a variety of settings which will allow me to become a more well-rounded pharmacist.

Plans after completion of PGY1? PGY2 in my areas of interest or pursing a clinical pharmacist position after graduation.

Hobbies and interests? My hobbies and interests include flying R/C airplanes, playing guitar, singing, and sports. I also enjoy spending time with my friends and family and my dog, Radar.

Hometown: Wheaton, IL

College of pharmacy and graduating year: Cedarville University 2025

Professional interests: Infectious Disease, Emergency Medicine

Why did you decide to pursue a residency? I wanted to pursue a residency because I saw it as the next opportunity to grow and develop into a pharmacist ready to practice in an acute care setting. As I look to prepare and start the next step in my pharmacy career, I believe that I can increase and challenge myself in my abilities and talents as a pharmacist. My passion is to help provide and assist others in providing the best care for patients when they need it most.

Plans after completion of PGY1? I am highly interested in completing a PGY2 in either infectious disease or emergency medicine, however, I do see myself staying on a clinical staffing within the system or here at Delnor.

Hobbies and interests? Outside of pharmacy, I enjoy watching and playing just about every sport there is, listening to country music, and hiking and exploring national parks.
