Life with diabetes can be challenging and sometimes you may need education or a little motivation to get or stay on track. Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital’s certified diabetes educators can help. Our diabetes education programs have been awarded continued recognition from the American Diabetes Association®. These programs receive rigorous and thorough reviews to meet the criteria of the national standards for Diabetes Self-Management Education. Education is offered for Type 1 or 2 Diabetes, Gestational Diabetes and Pre-diabetes on an individual basis or in a group setting.
