Immediate Care Evaluation Updates

To protect the health and safety of our patients, physicians and staff, we will no longer evaluate patients for influenza and respiratory symptoms in the following Chicago and Evanston Northwestern Medicine Immediate Care Centers:

  • Northwestern Medicine Immediate Care Lakeview
  • Northwestern Medicine Immediate Care River North
  • Northwestern Medicine Immediate Care Streeterville
  • Northwestern Medicine Immediate Care West Loop
  • Northwestern Medicine Immediate Care Evanston

We are asking these patients to instead visit our respiratory evaluation center at the Lavin Family Pavilion, 259 E. Erie, Chicago, on the Northwestern Memorial Hospital Campus. Walk-in hours are 8 am to 7:45 pm every day. Our remaining NM Immediate Care Centers will continue to evaluate patients with influenza-like illnesses as usual.

Overview

No appointment? No problem. Northwestern Immediate Care provides care when you need it, without a trip to the emergency department. Lakeview is staffed by licensed physicians who are trained to evaluate and treat a variety of medical conditions in both adult and pediatric patients. We treat minor illnesses, minor accidents and skin conditions. We also offer vaccinations, X-rays, lab orders and tests.
