Overview

If you have a wound that has not healed in more than 30 days, or a wound that has resisted traditional treatment, Northwestern Medicine wound care specialists can help you heal. Our caring, multidisciplinary team of physicians and nurses are dedicated to healing chronic wounds with specialized treatment plans designed to get you back on your feet as quickly as possible.

Ask your physician about visiting a Northwestern Medicine Wound Center if you have a:

  • Wound that has not healed in more than 30 days (commonly experienced by people with diabetes).
  • Sore with increasing pain, redness and swelling, foul odor or changing color.
  • Surgical wound that has become infected.

Parking and Transportation

The hospital Main Entrance is located at 1000 North Westmoreland Road. Both valet and self-parking options are available in Parking Lots 1 and 2.

Patients of the Cancer Center can use the hospital’s dedicated North Entrance and Parking Lot 1.

The Emergency Department and Maternity Services are located inside the hospital’s South Entrance. A circle drive can be used for patient drop-off, while close self-parking is available in Lot 3.

Patient parking for the Bays and McGaw medical office buildings is located just east of the McGaw Medical Building. Patients and visitors can also park in a new lot adjacent to the 700 building.

As always, patients and visitors to the medical office buildings are encouraged to take advantage of our complimentary valet service, located at the main hospital and the main entrances of the Bays (900) and the McGaw (800) Medical Buildings.

Valet Parking is complimentary and available during the following hours:

  • 900 Building Entrance 7:30 am–5:00 pm
  • 800 Building Entrance 7:30 am–5:00 pm
  • Hospital Main Entrance 5:30 am–5:00 pm
