Northwestern Medicine Surgery Center River North provides outpatient orthopaedic and ophthalmology services.
What to Expect
Before your surgery, our staff will:
- Complete your registration.
- Check your insurance coverage.
- Help make sure your insurance considers your procedure to be medically needed. This can affect what they cover.
Please bring your valid health insurance card(s)/information.
Staff will give you instructions to follow before your procedure. Please follow their directions. If you do not, we may need to reschedule your surgery.
You will recover in a post-operative room so we can monitor your health and comfort.
Your care team will give you instructions to help you recover and return to everyday activities. Please follow their instructions. Ask your care team if you have any questions.
Parking and Transportation
We offer discounted parking for patients and visitors. To get the discount, bring your parking ticket to the Registration Desk. You must do this every time you park to get the discount.
If you do not bring your parking ticket to the Registration Desk, you must pay the regular garage rates.
Parking Rates
Up to 3 hours: $15
12 hours: $17 with validation
24 hours: $25 with validation
