Cancer Mini-Med School

In September 2006, Mini-Med School focused on Cancer. The lectures were taught by Northwestern medical experts in the oncology (cancer) field and provide information on subjects studied by medical students. Participants did not need a science background to attend, just a curiosity about medicine and the desire to learn about the latest medical treatments.

DVDs of all four cancer Mini-Med School lectures are available for viewing in the Health Learning Center.

Lecture Series Topics:
  • Cancer 101
  • Genetics of cancer
  • Prevention/early detection
  • New horizons in cancer treatment
