Adolescent Medicine
The Adolescent Medicine program at Central DuPage Hospital provides care to teens and young adults who are 12 to 22 years old. Patients can be followed until their 25th birthday.
Through our clinical collaboration, Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago at Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital*, we provide comprehensive adolescent medicine services in our pediatric outpatient center in Winfield, Illinois.
Conditions We Treat
Our Adolescent Medicine services include treatment for the following conditions:
- Eating disorders
- Reproductive and gynecologic care, including contraceptive implants and intrauterine devices (IUDs)
- Menstrual disorders, including abnormal bleeding, painful menses and polycystic ovary syndrome
- Sexually transmitted infection (STI) prevention and treatment

Our adolescent medicine care is family-centered. Your child’s specialist will take time to communicate fully with you, answering questions and involving you in decisions regarding treatment and follow-up. This leads to the best possible outcomes for your child, and reassurance for you. We are committed to providing your child with outstanding care close to home in the western suburbs.
