Northwestern Medicine Vasculitis Center
The Northwestern Medicine Vasculitis Center is the only one of its kind in Illinois. Led by Anisha Dua, MD, MPH, and Brian Jaros, MD, we provide expert care to people with vasculitis using advanced research and treatment options.
Comprehensive Care for Vasculitis
Vasculitis is a rare condition, and there are many different types, so an accurate diagnosis is key. Because the Vasculitis Center is part of the Division of Rheumatology, our expert rheumatologists can provide a diagnosis and support you throughout your care.
Vasculitis is a long-term disease, so it’s important to be comfortable with your care plan and confident in your care team.

Our Approach to Care
We are here to support you throughout your care journey. Our rheumatologists have expertise diagnosing and treating vasculitis. We strive to provide compassionate care that puts you at the center of your care team.
We offer:
- Leading-edge services to diagnose and treat vasculitis.
- Access to world-class specialists with expertise in vasculitis.
- Clinical trials and research so you have access to care options not widely available elsewhere.
We are part of the Vasculitis Clinical Research Consortium, a clinical research program dedicated to studying vasculitis. We conduct clinical research and trials to learn more about the condition. This helps us develop better treatments to help people with vasculitis improve their quality of life.
We also work with the Vasculitis Foundation, which supports people with vasculitis through a range of initiatives.
