5.0 star star star star starI have had Dr Dua for over five years. I trust her with my health 100%! We moved last June to [location specified]. Last June 1st. I flew back to Chicago to keep my appointment and will continue to fly back as long as I am able. Dr Dua explains everything so I understand. I even got a big hug when she walked in the door. She is an outstanding doctor and I have recommended her to a few friends.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Dua is extremely knowledgeable about my diagnosis. Her kindness and understanding of my concerns are very reassuring. I feel I am receiving excellent care, and that is, in part, why I am doing well.

5.0 star star star star starI am very thankful for Dr. Dua. She is attentive, caring, and one of my favorite doctors on my care team. Her knowledge of Vasculitis has helped me obtain and remain in remission. I would not be where I am today if it was not for her great care.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Dua is great at interpersonal communication, listening, and expressing empathy, compassion, and understanding. When I had to (uncomfortably) tell her about some poor decisions I made with respect to my medications in the past year, she did not pass judgement. Rather, she offered some options to get me back on track in the coming months, while expressing full understanding of the types of challenges people with rare diseases face. It's quite difficult to find healthcare professionals who embrace a humanistic approach to medicine while also being leaders in their field, so I'm quite grateful to have met her.

5.0 star star star star starI think Dr Dua is brilliant! Her understanding of my EGPA and everything that goes with it is amazing.! I read up on my disease and understand about half of it . Dr. Dua explains things in layman's terms so I can understand it. She has been treating me for two + years now and her and Christina her PA have been wonderful in their patience and understanding of my illness and I can count on them to guide me in the right direction as to managing and living with EGPA. Got a second opinion at Mayo and I was afraid to tell them I wanted a second opinion at Mayo and they were very supportive in my decision to go. Mayo didn't find much different from what I am diagnosed with and although it was an impressive operation, I would rather be here at Northwestern with Dr. Dua and staff

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
