5.0 star star star star starSo caring and kind when it came to my situation. Didn’t dismiss my concerns or my feelings and made sure to get to the issue. When I expressed disinterest in a suggestion in care she didn’t pushback and I appreciated the respect.

5.0 star star star star starVery Professional, ask questions even though it was new years eve took care of me, then call me January 2, to let me know thar the last test was negative, but I still felt sick and ask to come in again for second evaluation, which did another test, was negative but gave me the right meds, which now I feel much better, wish she can be my doctor from now on.

4.0 star star star star star_borderBecause Dr. Ruiz is a good and kind doctor, after checking me, she send me to check by x-ray at once, and she knows my problem, she tell me to take the medication and refer me to see the specialist

4.0 star star star star star_borderShe was very good and carefully considered my bruised hand, and went to lengths to decipher the x-ray to see if anything was broken. But if there were something more serious, I might want someone more experienced.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
