5.0 star star star star starDr. Brenner really cares about his patients. He's accessible and spends ample time listening to you and your concerns. I only wish all doctors had this much devotion to their job. He is top notch all the way and I've been to a million doctors.

5.0 star star star star starI had not met Dr. Brenner until today. I had waited 6 months to see him. I found him to be straight forward, clear, caring, professional, and empathic. He had done his homework and knew all about my history with my condition. He clearly knows his field and is respected. He gave me strategies to use as I go forward. It is my hope that I can continue to be in his care as my issues are resolved. I have faith in him.

5.0 star star star star starHe's very affable, shows sincere interest in patients concerns. His ability to read the test results, despite the tech's difficulty in using a faulty catheter, was helpful. I didn't want to repeat the test if possible.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Brenner is a good listener first - trying to understand everything about my GI issues before rendering his opinion. He is thoughtful and explains everything in a way that is easy to understand.

5.0 star star star star starProfessional, knowledgeable, extremely helpful in identifying my gastrointestinal problems. Also reviewed my weigh loss and files from other Doctors who frankly messed up on my numerous physical problems. My only complaint is that I didn't see him a lot earlier.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Brenner's overall attitude was amazing. He is cheerful and yet sincerely concerned about the medical issues. He listened to me and asked relevant questions before suggesting his recommendations in such a way that I could make an informed decision to either agree or ask him questions for more information. He seemed widely versed in the rarer complications of neurological GI issues, citing research and experience thereby validating my current situation. He responded with compassion and a reasonable course of action.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
