At Northwestern Medicine, our patient’s feedback is important to us. While different care providers have their own unique strengths, we strive to be as transparent as possible with our quality of care.
Dr Brenner read my medical history prior to my visit and was fully prepared to discuss my diagnosis and possible treatments. He also communicated the results of our discussion to my referring Dr during my appointment. I was very impressed and pleased with my appointment with Dr Brenner.
It was a pretty quick visit and I feel like I did have to ask questions to get more information, especially for being a first time patient, but I liked Dr. Brenner a lot and trusted his opinion. I got all my questions answered and left feeling good.
I did not feel rushed and he explained and confirmed my diagnosis. He is very specialized so you have to fir the criteria to see him which is very good. He seemed truly interested and well informed of all the latest up to date research and information.
As I said, Dr. Brenner was very thorough with me and gave me a choice with procedures along with his expertise on my situation. I would most definitely recommend him to others. He is excellent but also has a wonderful and reassuring bedside manner.
Dr. Brenner absolutely is the first GI specialist that has finally tried a different approach in helping my situation besides a colonoscopy with endoscopy. He made me feel very confident in him and his plan moving forward . By far one of the best Doctors I've seen in a very long time . And I see a lot of Doctors .
Dr. Brenner is very knowledgeable and has a plan for my treatment progression. I am very satisfied with his expertise in pelvic floor issues and feel very comfortable talking with him about my issues despite how awkward they truly are. I am very grateful to be his patient and truly think he can help me. I feel like I am getting worse and my issues are a lot more demanding of my time and energy, but I trust that I am in the right place and with an exceptionally capable team.
Remarkably in depth questioning regarding the presenting problem that in itself indicated that he was formulating some ideas. No one had asked anything of the kind when I saw my primary care physician.
I am not dealing with a common issue, his extensive knowledge and discussion of options and concerns and progression of treatment protocols was very reassuring and helped me to deal with a condition that has haunted me for decades. I finally feel I am in the right hands.
