Karen Ho is perhaps the most gifted, talented, knowledgeable, practical, caring and unpretentious of all the many doctors I have worked with. I believe that she saved my life during several emergency surgeries in September, 2023, when I was in critial condition and several doctors thought I would not survive.

Same as above. Dr. Ho is an exceptional doctor and surgeon, known for her unwavering commitment to her patients. She never rushes through appointments, taking the time to thoroughly address each patient's questions and concerns. However, it's not just Dr. Ho who makes the vascular department outstanding_the entire supportive staff is equally fabulous, contributing to an environment of excellence and compassionate care.

Karen Ho don't seems to take any nonsense about her profession to get you on track when she sees there's a problem with your health that needs to be corrected.

Dr. Ho is an extraordinarily gifted surgeon and a similarly kind and compassionate person. I have worked with many doctors in many specialties at many institutions, and Dr. Ho is unparalleled in every way. She saved my life in September, 2024, in an extremely complex emergency surgery, and my right leg in August, 2024.

External Professional Relationships

Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
