5.0 star star star star starI appreciate Dr. Verma. He’s been terrific both times I’ve seen him. He listens well, and he had reviewed my file before my arrival and was prepared to discuss at my appointment. Excellent bedside manner.

5.0 star star star star starWhen he met me in the busy ER he took the time to help me understand what I was facing and what he could do for me. When it was possible to do the procedure it was clear he was very prepared and had anticipated multiple possible outcomes. His follow up was really great. He also has a very professional staff that managed my concerns with interest.

5.0 star star star star starSeems like a very special person. Communicates clearly his agenda and able to inquire about mine. Feel confident in his care. Not hurried to control symptom(s) without getting a better understanding of what is going on.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Verma is caring, listens to your concerns and doesn't have a one-size-fits-all attitude. He tries to give medicine and advice looking at your individual case and circumstances. I feel very comfortable with him as my cardiologist.

5.0 star star star star starHe had read my chart before entering the room, commenting on a recent visit i had with a different doctor at Northwestern. This made me think he is interested in me as a patient other than the specific issue he was addressing. I feel he is extremely competent, explaining my situation thoroughly. He addressed some issues I presented in an objective, careful manner.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
