4.0 star star star star star_borderHe was very nice and helpful. When my mother was in the hospital, Cody from ortho was terrific in analyzing her scans and Dr [last name] was super helpful as well. I was appreciative there ortho team was able to update Dr Edelstein prior to our appointment resulting in a positive experience with him and the ortho team.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Edelstein was great. He has a calm and understanding demeanor. I really liked meeting him and I felt much less anxious after having an appointment with him to discuss the possibility of new knees.

5.0 star star star star starDr Edelstein answers all my questions and left me know my injury outcomes. I had 2 big hiking trips planned after my injury so a plan PT/ cortisone was put in place so I could complete the trips. Alicia the PA on my case was awesome helping me complete my trips.

5.0 star star star star starDr Edelstein is an Orthopedic specialist, immediately put me at ease, listened to the same pain story he has probably heard 1000 times, since he has performed over 1000 hip surgeries. Was able to get a quick appointment, helpful staff, through pre and post op instructions, looking forward to being pain free and mobile!

5.0 star star star star starI saw Dr. Edelstein today for a small infection after knee replacement surgery. He explained why the infection happened & prescribed some antibiotics to clear it up. He spent plenty of time with me & answered all my questions.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Edelstein was considerate and patient. He listened and gave me options for care and agreed with my 'less is more' 'wait and see' approach. Clearly, that was his approach as well and much appreciated since he is a surgeon. I did not know what to expect but his time with my husband and me was productive.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
