Dr Karas cares about me and my health, especially now as I age and issues come up. She is knowledgeable about my disease, diabetes. Keeps up w new medical developments. She remembers my Concerns & problems, and spends all the time necessary to bring up issues, explain things, make suggestions/recommendations, and answer questions. I am grateful that I have her as my doctor.

Dr. Karas is one of NM's (very few) outstanding physicians. Every time I see her, she spends enough time with me to ensure that we cover everything in a way I can understand. She not only cares for your endocrinology needs, but she also addresses your entire well-being, including mental health. If you need something and she can't help on demand, she will do everything she can to direct you to the right person. She goes above and beyond in every aspect of her care. She should be recognized for her exceptional care for making her patients and NM "better".

Dr Kara's is the very best. She is very knowledgeable and excellent and always reviews all previous lab values even if she wasn't the ordering provider. I appreciate this so much because I have many providers. She is always willing to answer any questions in a nonjudgmental manner and answers questions clearly. Great educator and advocate for her patients. I know i can contact her with any needs or questions and I will get a clear answer back. She truly knows her patients. I know that I have received the VERY BEST CARE available. Dr Karas is truly a blessing to me

Dr. Karas is one of the best physicians I've ever met and had the pleasure to be a patient of. I appreciate her dedication to providing gender-affirming care to transgender and non-binary individuals. I also appreciate the fact that she takes her time with me. She goes above and beyond to make sure that I am good overall as a human and not just the one body part or body system that the appointment is for. I can tell she genuinely cares about her patients and appreciates getting to know them on a more personal level and not just the next patient on the schedule. To Dr. Karas you are a person, not a number. The world needs more people like Dr. Karas and NM is sure lucky to have her as a provider to their patients. She truly makes NM "better". Forever grateful our paths crossed.
