5.0 star star star star starDr. Freaney was so knowledgeable, patient, and thorough. I felt heard and supported, and felt she explained things in a way that my husband and I could understand. Her home recommendations were meaningful but manageable for our current lifestyle/needs. I appreciated how proactive and preventative-focused her care was.

5.0 star star star star starI cannot imagine a more thorough, empathetic, compassionate and expert specialist than Dr Freaney. She is simply exceptional! She made time to see me and review my care after a hospitalization and covered all of my questions, provided a clear plan of care and I trust her care.

5.0 star star star star starPriya and her NP Ella made me feel so supported and comfortable when being seen for PP pre eclampsia. She discussed causes, lifestyle changes, and what this means for future pregnancies and future cardiac issues. Nobody else had taken the time to explain everything to me until I saw her 6 months PP. I am grateful to have been connected with her since I felt I needed further support following my pre eclampsia experience. Thank you!

5.0 star star star star starShe took the time to listen carefully to my concerns as well as my long-term goals of staying strong and healthy. I appreciated how thoroughly she explained her thought process, including the role of genetics in heart health, what cannot be changed through lifestyle, and what steps I can take to improve my condition without medication. Dr. Freaney explained in detail why she was recommending certain tests, which gave me confidence in her approach. She discussed dietary changes in a clear and supportive way, without any judgment, and helped me understand why these adjustments are important. I left the appointment with a solid plan, motivation to follow through, and trust in her expertise.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
