5.0 star star star star starHe was professional and attentive and friendly. His smile is warm and he makes eye contact when he first greets you. I think that this is so reassuring. He answered all of my questions, and I had a lot. Dr. Stover was very concerned about my pain. His PA Jenny always responded to my emails quickly and thoroughly. Even the staff that greeted me and brought me into the exam room were friendly and professional. I would highly recommend Dr. Stover's services.

5.0 star star star star starBoth Michael Stover and his PA, Jenny, had read my records and done their homework before their arrival for my visit! Michael Stover examined me the way I should be examined and used his superior knowledge of his expertise to diagnose my problems and to set some goals for moving forward.

5.0 star star star star starDr Stover is a great surgeon! He takes time, has compassion, explains in complete detail what is going on & has never been pushy on surgery. It is the patients choice. He has done both my hip replacements at the age of 42 & 44, so glad I choose him to be the surgeon!

5.0 star star star star starGreat outcome and minimal pain with the hip replacement. Important that Stover was able to schedule surgery within about 1 month of when I had my 1st appointment. His physician assistants made things go smoothly (obtaining my prescriptions when I was in the hospital, handling insurance, etc).

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
