At Northwestern Medicine, our patient’s feedback is important to us. While different care providers have their own unique strengths, we strive to be as transparent as possible with our quality of care.
Great outcome and minimal pain with the hip replacement. Important that Stover was able to schedule surgery within about 1 month of when I had my 1st appointment. His physician assistants made things go smoothly (obtaining my prescriptions when I was in the hospital, handling insurance, etc).
Beyond Dr. Stover's excellent replacement of my hips, he exudes an enthusiasm that he loves what he does, and that he's dedicated to and excited about getting me back into tiptop shape. I'll always remember the very early morning of my first surgery when he stopped by to say hello. He was just all smiles.
Experience, Experience, Experience.
Over the years, thru two hip replacements Dr. Stover & his entire team(s), various nurses, PAs, and residents, Always acted in a professional manner, appeared to be well trained, with an attention to detail.
Dr. Stover is friendly and takes the time to listen to all issues and explains what and why things are happening. This is followed up by explaining what is needed to correct or help alleviate the problems. Questions are completely answered, he takes the time that I need.
Very nice and extremely knowledgeable, however I wanted to know what other options I had and what I should do next. Perhaps I did not ask enough questions, and should of written my questions beforehand.
He was the complete opposite of my Mayo Clinic Minnesota Dr and that is a good thing. He was personable, listened to my concerns, talked about my specific case vs speaking only in general terms, he talked about complications I may personally have, he reassured me when any concerns I had, etc.
