5.0 star star star star starDr. Soudagar really listened to my symptoms and seemed like he wanted to get to the bottom of what was causing them not just dismissing it or putting on a 'band-aid'. I feel like I am receiving comprehensive care .

5.0 star star star star starThis was my first visit and he showed concern for my health problems. And scheduled me for a colonoscopy. I feel like he really cares, and plan on helping me solve my health issues. I'm glad to have met a doctor like him.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Soudagar is terrific and has a great bedside manner. The only thing I wish could have been different is everything felt a bit rushed, from the time right before my procedure to sharing my results post-op. That’s probably less about Dr. Soudagar and more a reflection of the medical system, in general.

4.0 star star star star star_borderDr. Soudagar was distracted and multi-tasking during the appointment. It would be more efficient for him to be 100% present, deliver quality care and then move on to the next task. There is no such thing as multitasking - it’s a synonym for inefficiency.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Soudagar listened to me well and also explained care options very well. I’ve seen a couple other gastroenterologists at NW Med in downtown Chicago over the past several years who just rushed me through. I will only see Dr. Soudagar from now on.

4.0 star star star star star_bordermy quality of life is significantly impacted due to abdominal pain. I feel like me being in my early 60’s, female and with a history of chronic pain from spinal cord surgery, I am not taken as seriously as it should. This week he wants me to go to Mayo or Cleveland Clinic for another opinion.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Soudagar, fiited me into his busy office schedule and then a procedure the same week because he knew the urgency of my situation. He is extremely knowledgeable and he thoroughly explained in great detail what he found during the procedure. He has a follow up plan for me, which I greatly appreciate. I will be using him in the future for all my GI needs. I highly recommend him as a fantastic gastroenterologist.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Soudagar listened thoroughly to my health history and discussed what my symptoms most likely could be, but also informed me of other potential issues that my symptoms related to. I appreciated the information given so that I could understand the need for a colonoscopy. Which at first I was reluctant to undergo. We found an alternative option for the prep part of the procedure that I think I can handle far better. I also appreciate the extra step to ensure that we received a cardiologist clearance before the procedure. Thank You for being the kind of doctor that a patient needs. In this era of modern health care and cost cuts, far too often the patient pays the price in quality health care. I am encouraged to see that some doctors have learned to balance the need in cost cuts and the need for quality health care.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
