5.0 star star star star starI have been seeing Dr Soudagar for several years and trust him implicitly, both in the operating room and out of it. My previous OR procedure with him was a colonoscopy that turned out to be very difficult and I was lucky to have him because the risk of perforation was high and might have happened with someone less skilled. This procedure was an upper endoscopy that was done quickly with no complications.

5.0 star star star star starI was premed for two years at college with the beginnings of lifelong interest in surgery and the study of issues affecting me over the years, particularly as presented in the New England Journal of Medicine. (I would provide negatively the reaction on one neurologist visiting me and his seeming stubborn inability to present me with citations to conditions affecting me.) Highest grades for Dr. Soudagar.

5.0 star star star star starHe is an excellent Doctor. He was very punctual in his diagnosis. He ordered images to find out the reason for my consultation. Although the results were not sad for me, I thank the Dr. for everything he did for me. Thank you Dr. Soudagar

5.0 star star star star starDr. Soudagar was very compassionate and spent time answering my questions and addressing my concerns. I explained to him that the Prep made me very nauseated and I felt very frustrated that I didn't feel well enough to complete the bowel prep and drank only slightly over 75% of it. He suggested that next time I have a Colonoscopy, I should be given anti-nausea medication.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
