5.0 star star star star starDr. Patel is awesome. She's not only the most attentive and knowledgeable (as in up-to-date on the latest medical information) but has the kind of empathy I've never experienced from any doctor in the Northwest Community network or anywhere.

5.0 star star star star starI feel like she is a weapon against the obesity epidemic in America and can help many out. I wish there were more physicians like her. This is an area of expertise greatly needed, I wish more physicians would see that calories in, calories out is just the surface of why Americans are so over weight. More education is needed for the primary care physicians on this subject.

5.0 star star star star starThis was my first visit and I could tell Dr. Patel had looked at my chart before coming in to see me. She had already devised a plan and talked me through every option and reason for her thinking. She is awesome and would highly recommend her!

5.0 star star star star starThere is only one other Dr I have that I can connect with and feel as comfortable with as I do with Dr Patel. She is professional yet like talking to your best friend. So happy I found her and her staff!

5.0 star star star star starShe actually takes the time to get you to know you as a person. She wants to know more than just about your metabolism. She wants to know about other aspects of your care, she wants to know about you as a whole person, and all aspects of how you’re feeling. It’s just amazing

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
