5.0 star star star star starDr. Murphy is always very thorough. She does not rush and takes time to answer my questions and help me understand my health and plans going forward. She has a wonderful bedside manner and makes me feel very comfortable to share my medical information and issues with her.

5.0 star star star star starI have a severe fear of this exam due to a very traumatic experience with another doctor from a different medical group, and Dr. Murphy & her nurse Andrea were extremely patient and understanding and went out of their way to make sure I was emotionally supported and cared for & that helped me tremendously. I appreciate that they listened and showed such care.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Murphy has been my OB-GYN for a while now and she has been amazing. Makes something that is usually uncomfortable and makes it not so bad! I tell everyone how great she is as both a person and doctor

5.0 star star star star starKnowledgeable, friendly, patient, genuine. She works well with her nursing staff-you can tell they are a well functioning team. Dr. Murphy listens to concerns and her care plan is collaborative. She includes the patient in the problem-solving process; which is part of what sets her apart from other doctors.

5.0 star star star star starVery professional. Takes a lot of time with the patient. Listens carefully to all of your concerns and always asks if there are any more questions that she can answer. She’s a very caring person.

0.0 star_border star_border star_border star_border star_borderAll she cared about was being right- instead of advocating for her patient she proceeded to tell me information I didn’t ask for, argued with me and gave me a referral to another doctor who’s booked out almost a year. She didn’t hear what I wanted or what upset me at all Thanks a lot for that.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Murphy is excellent. She’s very kind and explains everything and takes her time. She addressed another issue I was having that I had brought up during my visit rather than having me come back another time. I’ve been dealing with an issue for 15 years and was misdiagnosed.I am on the right path to getting a correct diagnosis and treatment with the help of Dr. Murphy.

5.0 star star star star starDr Murphy is SO gentle. Years ago she was able to successfully place an IUD with little discomfort when other physicians struggled mightily. She also has a happy, positive demeanor. She is always smiling, even with the mask on. She is your ‘top doc’.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
