5.0 star star star star starI can say so much about Dr. Foley. I was not expecting to be seen right away because in my mind I just knew she would be too busy, so that was never the expectation for today. Leslie called me and asked could I come in and I was there. Dr. Foley did not have me waiting long when I got there and I was in the back being examined. She did not make me feel rushed, but she made me feel heard. I cried in her office today because it's been extremely emotional for me. She was so kind and patient. Even though I am an employee with NM, we are all at some point a patient and just knowing that in that moment, she treated me like the rest of her patients, made me so happy because I could tell she cares for everyone the way she did me. Her kindness will never be forgotten and always remembered. People always remember how they were treated during a vulnerable time and right now is mine. I greatly appreciate everything she has done for me, especially saving my life and helping me avoid what could have been.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Foley was extremely attentive, professional, and compassionate throughout my visit. I was very nervous during the appointment, and she made me feel genuinely heard and supported. She took the time to ask thorough questions, listened carefully to all of my concerns, and ensured that all necessary exams were done. I felt welcomed, respected, and truly cared for. An excellent experience, I couldn't have asked for better care.

She helps me understand what is coming next and her team is very fast in responding to any questions I might have. I trust her and the expertise that the full team has.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Olivia Foley is amazing. Not only is she an outstanding clinician, but she is also incredibly compassionate and approachable, is very interested in my experience as a patient and is responsive to my needs. I've told everyone how wonderful she is and how lucky I am she is my doctor. She's a real advocate for her patients too.

5.0 star star star star starI had not met Dr Foley in person prior to surgery. She took on my surgery when Dr [last name] had an unexpected medical leave. Dr Foley called me in advance and stopped in to meet me and answered all our questions before surgery. She was great.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
