5.0 star star star star starA quick wait for Carrie to see me after the nurse took my vitals. Carrie introduced herself and helped me celebrate the benign biopsies. She explained the process she was going to do to remove all the stitches. Made me comfortable on the exam table and gently removed the stitches and added the strips to hold the incisions together. She explained the wound care and bathing instructions.

5.0 star star star star starCarrie was amazing!! She made me feel at ease, and took a ton of the stress out of this process. I only wish Carrie was also a Primary Care physician, as I would 100% love to have her in this role for me

5.0 star star star star starCarrie Kopala gave freely of her time for the after surgical care. She walked me through the procedure and told me what to expect. She gave me plenty of time to ask questions. An over-the-counter mouth rinse was suggested for the soreness in my mouth. I am confident that if this doesn't work, she will have another recommendation.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
