5.0 star star star star starDr Gera is an excellent doctor. She does not rush through our visit. She encourages questions and provides clear answers. I appreciate the rapport she has provided. She also is receptive to questions via email and I appreciate that option for communication

5.0 star star star star starI had an experience with a very abrupt diagnosis from a neurologist in Rockford. Dr. Gera was matter of fact, but kind, knowledgable and caring. She has answered all of my questions to my satisfaction.

5.0 star star star star starI was scheduled with Dr Gopal with Neurology Movement Disorder Clinic. Upon arrival, I had almost no wait time and a very professional MA to check me in. Unfortunately, Dr Gopal couldn’t treat me, but she was very empathic towards my situation and referred me to NW downtown and she even sent an email on my behalf and they literally called and scheduled me that afternoon! She went above and beyond to make sure my trip was not a wasted trip since I drive 3 hours to NW. I’m actually sad that Dr Gopal can’t be my dr. Definitely recommend her and her office for sure!

5.0 star star star star starShe really cares about me as a patient. She realized that part of my problem is that I was taking medicine prescribed by doctors that I have seen prior to her (in the area where I live) that is causing my problems.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
