I’m not sure why I feel the way I do, but I did not feel confident in her knowledge or the way she handled the appointment. Maybe she could have introduced herself, maybe she could have came across more professional, maybe she could have had a different bed side manner. I didn’t feel like I saw a dr from Northwestern Hospital. Felt like an ordinary Dr visit.

Emily was not knowledgeable or confident in her ability to give me the shot. She said she was supposed to be supervised by Dr Later because she was still not proficient in giving the shot. After waiting an hour she said she couldn't get ahold of him and so she gave me the shot herself. When I left I had a huge lump in my head and when I came back (within minutes) she was very dismissive about it. I was very upset and left very unhappy with her care and unprofessionalism.

External Professional Relationships

Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
