At Northwestern Medicine, our patient’s feedback is important to us. While different care providers have their own unique strengths, we strive to be as transparent as possible with our quality of care.
Dr. Roemer is the finest doctor I've had in my 80 long years. He not only has all the knowledge and skill that one hopes for in an internist, but he also has all the personal qualities that make the doctor-patient relationship work perfectly. After living in Chicago for fifty years, I moved to the East Coast a few years ago, where I see a doctor in the Univ of PA hospital system. If I could see Dr. Roemer every time I have a health issue, I would. Given my location, I can't do that now; but my goal is to return to Chicago once a year to get Dr. Roemer's input on whatever issue I might be having at that time.
Because NM Internal Medicine is part of Northwestern Medicine--a system seen as the best in Chicago and one of the best in the nation. During my fifty years in Chicago, my experience certainly persuaded me that NM lives up to its reputation.
Reason to see Dr Roemer was to establish a relationship with a Chicago doctor for when I'm here during summer months. He got a good understanding of my medical history and checked out my vitals. We will reconnect next June. I liked his demeanor and interest in me.
He has been my MD for a long time and I trust him with my life,. Also, he is practical, not a ‘pill"pusher'. Most importantly, he takes the time to explain my concerns.and my questions on My Chart are generally answered in a timely manner.
Professional, caring, GREAT LISTENER! Excellent bedside manner. When you are not being very compliant to instructions he let's you know nicely what can be the outcome. Never tries to scare you, just provides the facts. A fantastic Doctor.
Dr. Roemer is fabulous. He is willing to take the time to listen to try to decipher the problem. He never rushes you. He's very knowledgeable and thorough. He's been my doctor for 10+ years. One of the best doctors I've ever had.
Dr. Roemer is always professional, attentive and informative. His demeanor is calming and takes time to answer all of our questions. He has been the family primary doctor for my parents prior to their deaths and for us. He sets the bar high for recommendations for specialists, when needed. He exemplifies the values and protocols of Northwestern Memorial.
I always tell people how kind and compassionate the doctors in the primary care group are. I have never worked with a physician who wasn't patient and didn't listen and thoughtfully answer my questions.0
