1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderOne act pony. Ignored my symptoms, didn't check the heaviness in chest. Discharge me with uncontrolled pain. I suffered MI 12 hrs. After Discharge. An abrupt and dismissive man. Treated the knee but not the body.

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderI was treated in a condescending manner. I have had 4 concussions, a TBI, and have ADHD. When I asked the doctor a question, his response was “I just spent 5 minutes explaining thisâ€â€¦I asked about the pain in the back part of my knee, and he said “that’s part of your hamstringâ€â€¦He didn’t really make any recommendations for treatment. He said here’s your options and left it up to me to decide. He didn’t even numb/freeze my knee entirely for the injection in my right knee. He gave me a referral for PT, and said do what you want, it’s only a piece of paper.

5.0 star star star star starHe has a great bedside manner, truly feel like he is concerned about my treatment and care. I feel he is VERY honest, which is extremely important to me. I am a patient with a life and not just some number to bring in money.

4.0 star star star star star_borderAI had to choose an option and do not know what that choice means down the line for my stage 4 hip xray issues??? I feel so uncertain as to what I will be doing after my choice and what outcome to expect for an 85 year old very healthy woman???I hope together a second opinion by a doctor that will explain the above consequences of my choice.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
