4.0 star star star star star_borderSame. I feel he's competent but I don't like that I was initially seen one hour after scheduled appointment time, and was left in the examining room for 45 minutes with no update after having been told the doctor would be in shortly.

5.0 star star star star starHe’s very polite, knowledgeable of his area of medicine. And the patient know he has your best interest at heart. I like the comfortability he makes you feel when discussing you health issues. And what’s the best you course of action to take. To get you healthier, and what you think as the patient. Love Live Love this.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Hardt is the best Knee Surgeon and came recommended to my by another wonderful sports doctor and a PT expert. His PreOp and PostOp care is outstanding. He is clear in his communication and very supportive throughout the process.

5.0 star star star star starI know several nurses that work in hospital and recovery. They all recommended him when I was looking for a knee guy. He is friendly and knows what he is talking about. Not pushy to go to surgery. Explains things and answers my questions.

5.0 star star star star starCommunicates well. Prepared for my appointment. I didn’t have to repeat my health history, he had already studied it on line and could talk about it authoritively. He is extremely talented in reconstruction his surgery. Communicates in layman’s terms.

5.0 star star star star starObviously, he is an excellent surgeon. He also has a very direct and open manner, answers questions, explains terms, and gives me a good picture of what is going on during follow-up. I think the fact that I'm very compliant in PT and work hard at getting stronger and reducing my residual pain helps our conversations. And he actually laughs with me occasionally.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
