5.0 star star star star starKind and helpful. He recommended testing to make a proper diagnosis from my virtual check up and followed up quickly afterwards to prescribe medication. Thank you! Me getting sick while on vacation and away from home was not ideal. He made getting medical attention quick and easy.

5.0 star star star star starAttentive, supportive, caring, and was able to empathize and made me feel heard. I always worry about having to explain myself/situation/or need to a doctor who doesn’t know me. It helps to have an urgent care within the NMH system so my background and information is at the care teams fingertips and I don’t need to over explain especially when not feeling 100%.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Parekh did a brief webcam examination and highlighted a health issue I was not aware of due to the visual exam. A subsequent prescription for a medication helped incredibly with a band of issues related to the contacting concern.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
