5.0 star star star star starTijana spends whatever time is necessary to go over everything regarding my Type 1 diabetes. She is very thorough and goes back over everything to make sure I understand the plan going forward. She is so cheerful and friendly. She gives me time to ask the questions I have about proper snacks to keep my blood sugar stable. I am so fortunate to have found Tijana! She is the best!!

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderFelt rushed and not sure what drug representative is the one pushing their product. Most of the time spent is sitting while typing in the computer so I can read. So much dependent on the computer.

2.0 star star star_border star_border star_borderTijana seemed to rush off the phone at scheduled end time, so I only had 20 minutes to chat.. I didn't feel like I was able to get all the answers I needed. How is a phone call less efficient than an in-person visit?

5.0 star star star star starShe is so nice so attentive. She sets goals and if they’re not met, she doesn’t get mad. She just shoots for making sure that I am OK. She truly makes me feel like I could tell her what’s going on and she will find a way to fix it.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
