4.0 star star star star star_borderDr. Thomas helped with hearing aid repair so I cannot speak to their ability to assist with any further hearing problems though I expect they will be great if I ever do need them. Thanks Dr. Thomas

5.0 star star star star starDr. Thomas is an excellent audiologist. I never would've thought that I would get accustomed to using hearing aids, but her kind and thorough manner made me feel more confident to give them a try. This would not have been impossible without her.

5.0 star star star star starMonica Thomas is extraordinary. Her entire presentation is predicated on a deeply compassionate understanding of her patients' needs; and the smartest and kindest ways of ensuring those needs are met. Apart from these considerations, she has an obvious love of her work which is expressed through a wonderful energy and light wit. She has an enormous presence as a human being-- a rare gift.

5.0 star star star star starMonica was friendly and very helpful, explaining the reasons for her device selections for me, narrowing the field I had to select from. Once the device arrived, we went through all the user insights we could, but were limited by the fact I could not install the device app due to my not remembering a password. It would be good to suggest the app be loaded ahead of the appointment to avoid this problem.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
