5.0 star star star star starDr. Brannigan was fantastic. He is clearly a highly skilled provider. My procedure was fast and as painless as it could have been. Dr. Brannigan did a good job of talking with me during the procedure to put me at ease.

5.0 star star star star starI've been a patient of Dr Brannigan since 2001. I have had many surgeries and medical issues throughout my 58 years and I could say without qualification, that Dr Brannigan is the best physician I have ever had. He is an invaluable asset to Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Brannigan seems particularly skilled at vasectomies and - a rare quality - has a great bedside manner and a good sense of humor. Providing a very easy way to contact him directly put my mind at ease. The vasectomy was completed more quickly, efficiently, and painlessly than all other friends I talked to.

5.0 star star star star starHe chats with you as a patient and answers questions well and cares about your concerns and actual well being. He is also very reasonable and accompdating, too. He lets me do one of my two annual vists virtually because I drive from downstate.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Brannigan is supposed to be the best in the city and my experience exceeded expectations. In addition to being an incredibly skilled surgeon, he is hyper-efficient, sets realistic expectations, gives clear explanations, and puts patients at ease.

5.0 star star star star starVery thorough consultation and not at all rushed. Explained everything very clearly. Listened to and showed genuine care about my concerns and future treatment. Offered insights and tools that other urologist never mentioned. Excellent experience!

5.0 star star star star starHe is very professional, very caring, very compassionate and explains everything to you and make sure that you're comfortable before you leave the appointment. He goes above and beyond to make sure that you're probably taken care of before you leave and that you're comfortable with everything, especially when you live out of state. He does a great job as well as the staff to make sure that you are taken care of to make all appointments in a short period of time not to make multiple trips.

5.0 star star star star starMy surgery was carried out with a delightfully ruthless efficiency that had me in and out practically before I realized what was happening. And Dr. Brannigan and his colleague did an exceptional job putting me at ease and making sure I understood what was required post-op. I did not rate it a 10 because I make room for the possibility that my vasectomy might fail through no fault of anyone and I may need another--and what if the second one is even better than the first and I have nowhere to go?

5.0 star star star star starDr. Brannigan is excellent. He is very personable and very knowledgeable. He not only views the medical treatment from the hospital perspective but also from the patient perspective. He talked to me through the procedure and took time after to answer all of my questions. I truly value his expertise and authentic nature to providing me the best treatment possible. I highly recommend Dr. Brannigan.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships.
