5.0 star star star star starMy mom (patient) is appreciative for the wonderful care Rebecka provided from the first time we met Rebecka at ortho clinic. While my mom’s English is limited, she can feel the warmth and kindness. She always looks forward to seeing Rebecka in clinic. I’m grateful to Rebecka for the great care she provides to my mom, and her professionalism. She is a fantastic provider, and we feel lucky to know her.

5.0 star star star star starSee previous answer. She also took advantage of my being there to have an x-ray of the left knee, knowing I would have surgery in a few months. She provided a packet of information for me to review in advance of that surgery.

5.0 star star star star starMs. Schmidt provided outstanding care to me when I saw her to have a steroid shot in my right knee. I had many questions not just about the shot but about knee replacement surgery and some pain that I am having in my hips. She gave me all the time I needed and patiently answered all of my many questions.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
