Dr. Hecker has a is dynamic, dynamite personality, and is incredibly accomplished in evaluation and diagnostics and suggested treatments. I travel 60 miles rt to see Dr. Hecker.

Dr. Hecker is the best PCP I ever had. He is very thorough, very knowledgeable, gives lots of great advice on staying healthy, and does things quickly. Whenever I ask him for help, like contacting my other doctors, or getting referrals, or whatever, it's done right away. Great doctor and a great person.

It is always a pleasure - and a valuable experience - to meet with Dr. Hecker. He is friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable about every issue that I may bring to him. He always takes the time to provide thorough explanations, and he answers all of my questions in language that even I can understand. Today, although I was there to review the lower dosage of my blood pressure medication, Dr. Hecker also helped me with the Life-Sustaining Treatment (POLST) Form. I feel very fortunate to have Dr. Hecker as my PCP.

My current health issues are rather unusual compared to many other patients with the same type symptoms. With the prior medical network, I tried to discuss the rare reaction I experienced from one of their prescriptions. They argued between each other, dismissed my suggestions, and treated me like I knew nothing about the current health issue that I've had for 5 years now. When discussing my experience with Dr. Hecker, he made note of my suspicion that I may be truly one of a kind to possibly have this rare type reaction which I experienced. Dr. Hecker went even further recommending a modification with the meds I'm currently taking while also referring NW network doctors who could provide even more help/answers. The former network provider let me suffer for weeks not offering or even checking on my situation, after knowing my 1st Cardioversion procedure was unsuccessful and I was still sick. All I seek is to obtain good information that can help me understand and make the best decisions that I need for my better health. Dr. Hecker comes across as a shining light to the darkness I felt I was stuck in. And he did all this just with my very first appointment with him! I'm glad I made the switch and feel the hope is live and ongoing. Thank You Dr. Hecker and NW Medicine!!!

I just had my first meeting with Dr. Hecker. He was incredibly generous with his time and diligence. But more than that, he tells it like it is. He fixes things. I feel fortunate to now have him as my primary care physician. My only regret is that I didn't find him sooner.

Excellent Dr, you don't feel like you're part of a revolving door and you're just in there for two minutes and bam you're out he explains everything why he feels the way he does he lets you have the floor when it's your turn he's above and beyond he is like I said a rare breed please clone him. We need more doctors like this!!!!! a lot of patients are feeling like they're alone out there, not when you have a doctor like this!!!!! I heard he was old school. I was cautiously optimistic and it turns out he's one of the great ones!!!!

Attentive listener. Careful follow up on my issues. Doctor identified source of hip pain which had been troublesome since 2015 aneurysm. Ft Hecker recommended Celebrex for inflammatory pain management . Iam hopeful for first time in years because dr Hecker listened and explained with picture to show me how my pain was caused.
