5.0 star star star star starShe takes the time to listen before diagnosing. If you don’t understand, she tries to explain in a different way. Extremely knowledgeable, not hesitant to discuss recent studies, things that are new and upcoming. Provides options, with a thoughtful evaluation of what you have come up with.

5.0 star star star star starIn addition to her top reputation in movement disorders, she takes personal interest in her patients. She always listens to your questions and concerns. She never seems rushed with patients even though I’m sure she is very busy.

5.0 star star star star starToday was a perfect example. We called and made the appointment feeling that my mom might need the dosage of her medicine increased. Both Dr. Simuni and the other doctor from her practice (forgot his name...ugh) spent a considerable amount of time evaluating my mom. In the end they both agreed that upping my mom‘s dosage would not gain the benefits we were looking for and open the opportunity for some negative side effects to increase. We are her patients for her expertise and appreciated her being completely honest with us and explaining why the increased dosage would not be beneficial.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Simuni has a wealth of knowledge and although some people may think her delivery should be softer, she gets right to the point and informs you what your options are and still lets you make the ultimate decision on what is best for you. I have complete faith, trust and confidence in her professional advice and care.

5.0 star star star star starI have a high level of confidence in Dr. Simuni. I've had some challenging health issues and both Dr. Simuni (and Dr. Taylor) have seen me through them. Always their care is wrapped in kindness and compassion.I trust them implicitly with my health care needs. I feel very fortunate to be under their care. It is evident that they care about me as their patient and that matters as I traverse the health care response to my various needs.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
