1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderI was not impressed with my visit with Dr. Miller, the visit felt very transactional and I felt like a number. The issue I was being seen for was very new to me and I didnt feel like it was being addressed with an appropriate tone. I am considering looking for a new neurologist to follow up with.

5.0 star star star star starHe was open & honest about dealing with ALS. He was sensitive to the distance we had to come & wanted to make sure the nerve study was closer. We also had a conference call as a follow-up, and he was very willing to stamp “urgent “ on the follow up visits to Iowa City.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Miller is knowledgeable, inquisitive, and pleasant as well. Unlike some medical professionals I've dealt with, I feel that Dr. Miller and I have a great and proactive professional relationship, which is so very much important to me. It's very assuring that I feel comfortable and well cared for.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
