5.0 star star star star starDr. Puthumana was very thorough and detailed oriented . I felt at ease with him. He gives off an air of quiet confidence and experience which was very comforting to me as a first time cardiology patient . I have faith that he is a good diagnostician ,that he will help me navigate the necessary tests for a prognosis. This was my first visit and I will continue my care with him feeling I am in good hands .

5.0 star star star star starDr. Puthumana is the best. Every year he is very prepared, having reviewed my other Nw doctors records to discuss with me. The time he spends with me regarding my health is very much appreciated. He is both personable and professional. Again, the best !

5.0 star star star star starWhat stands out most is his respectful and kind approach. He treats me like a person, not just a patient, and that makes a world of difference. It's rare to find a doctor who combines such compassion with professionalism, and I trust him completely with my heart health. I leave every visit feeling heard, reassured, and informed _ and that's something I deeply value.

5.0 star star star star starDr Puthumana continues to impress me with every interaction. I feel like I have a personal relationship with him and I have never trusted a doctor more. I was planning to have my eventual surgery done at Mayo or Cleveland Clinic but due to Dr Puthumana, it will be done at Northwestern.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
