5.0 star star star star starDr. Puthumana is thorough in his evaluations and leaves no stone unturned when it comes to diagnosing and addressing any issues. He takes a holistic approach to heart health and ensures that his patients feel supported and well-informed every step of the way. I especially appreciate how he explains medical terms in a clear, understandable way, which makes me feel comfortable and confident in the care I'm receiving. In addition to his excellent medical expertise, Dr. Puthumana's bedside manner is truly one of a kind. He is patient, kind, and approachable, which makes each visit feel more like a conversation than just a doctor's appointment. I never feel rushed, and I know that my health is in great hands.

5.0 star star star star starDr Puthumana was highly recommended and had great rapport with me as a first time patient, He was thorough and professional as was his assistant. Both treated me with respect and listened to me instead of just brushing off my health concerns.

5.0 star star star star starDr Puthumana answered my questions regarding recent heart valve discoveries, provided direction on what to be aware of if further assistance is needed, and confirmed through examination that the discoveries of my TEE test seemed to be resolved by my recent ablation procedure.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Puthumana was outstanding. He took the time to not just tell me the results, but to show them to me. He helped me understand what was going on with my heart, and even identified something else that has not been addressed by any of my previous Doctors. Dr. Puthumana is an exceptional Doctor, and I have already recommended him to my Father and peers.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
