5.0 star star star star starDr. Engel is a great doctor. I am very happy with his care over the past few years and he has a wonderful disposition. Never in a hurry and explains everything before you leave. He is also very responsive.

5.0 star star star star starI've had Dr. Engel as my Urologist for over six years. He treats my BPH and checks my lower urinary tract symptoms. Sometimes we have a longer session and sometimes like the recent one, we have a short session. I take the three medicines Dr. Engel prescribes plus I take a supplement that has helped my bladder. We usually check in with my drinking liquids after 8pm subject, and I'm kind of stable with this, my behaviors aren't the best on this subject. Dr. Engel is personal. He shares something about his life and I share something about mine. In this past session, Dr. Engel asked me three short questions about how strong the issue was with each of these. I answered 'no' to each of these, and I think he concluded that I'm handling the urgency of these matters, and it brought up that this day's issue was routine. I'm going to keep on doing the same things I've been doing. He'll see me in a year. Dr. Engel emphasized the content and he swished away the frills.

4.0 star star star star star_bordera straight to the point dr. and open to field all questions. Liked he was a seasoned urologist who evaluated new incoming cases and then helped lay out a plan with the correct NW urologist.

5.0 star star star star starEvery now and again you get a doctor and just know you will be sticking with him. Dr. Engel is one of those. A very nice affable man, who takes his time, explains all and makes sure you leave with no unanswered questions, and know what is next. He is great. My appointment was 8.45AM, they called me in at exactly 8.45 and I was out the door at 9.05. That is a rarity when seeing a doctor. Last time, same efficiency.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
