4.0 star star star star star_borderSee above comments. I appreciate her advice but feel “ partitioned”. I’m 1 person, 1 body. It seems to be the NWM way though, so I can’t blame the Dr. I was surprised she had no comments or knowledge or opinion about the major ingredients in the herbal Txs recommended by my NORTHSHORE Integrative Health MD to help calm the GI tract. Who better to know the bigger picture of Tx options?

4.0 star star star star star_borderI do not know her well enough, but she was professional and informative. She did the best she could with stepping in to provide service to me because Dr. Lee was not able to do my appointment today. As I found out only on this past Wednesday afternoon that Dr. Baumann would be stepping in to provide my procedure.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Baumann made a good impression overall. I was still pretty sedated when she explained the findings right after the procedure in the procedure room. The written discharge instructions with images from the procedure were very helpful. She sent me the pathology report of the resected tissues along with an explanation, and a recommended timeframe for the next colonoscopy in a very timely fashion. Procedure was on a Friday, and the report was sent to me by Monday evening. This was very efficient.

5.0 star star star star starExcellent in all areas. Thorough and very willing to work with and listen to patient. I am from Ohio. Have been to gastro in Indiana for tests and procedures who did nothing to help my diagnosis. Dr Baumann improved my situation and quality of life with her testing requests and procedure. For that I am very grateful.

5.0 star star star star starShe has read my past records and discussed my options. She listens to me and includes me in decision making. She is very thorough... Followed up with a my chart message confirming our agreed upon plan. She also referred me to Dr Aziz (spelling?) who is also very impressive.

5.0 star star star star starClearly explained the results of the tests. Asked if husband wanted her to explore surgical options and patiently re-explained until he understood and answered her question. Also explained options.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
