5.0 star star star star starArrived promptly, inquired as to my situation and whether I might currently be in pain, talked directly and in a kindly manner with both my wife and myself, diagnosed the likely problem and prepared a referral, bade goodby and wished us well.

5.0 star star star star starI had an infection in a very sensitive area and she was so kind and attentive to the whole situation. She really made me feel calm throughout the whole experience, said she was sorry I was going through this, and also worked so hard to get it wrapped correctly to keep it safe. Incredible experience.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Carani was very helpful, professional and engaging in the way she listened to me, examined my foot and diagnosed the issue that had presented itself. She inquired about the the history of this issue which I was able to share via MyNM app, prescribed appropriate medication and gave follow-up recommendations. She even was willing to go above and beyond in checking the cost of an X-Ray.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
