At Northwestern Medicine, our patient’s feedback is important to us. While different care providers have their own unique strengths, we strive to be as transparent as possible with our quality of care.
Dr. Q. takes time to listen. She asks questions. She is really focused on total care of her patients. I know that if I had a problem or concern or even a really dull question, she would treat me with respect, would supply complete and honest information and would keep me informed. I have been so fortunate in my life not to have many medical issues, but if I had one, I would turn to this doctor with total confidence.
Dr. Quinlan is one of the most knowledgeable, caring doctors I've ever had. she takes time to listen in an era when time is stretched super thin- and yet she's always on time. I feel lucky to have found her!
This was my first appt with Dr. Quinlan after transferring from another NW MD who shifted the emphasis of her practice. Felt immediately comfortable with Dr. Quinlan and am happy to have made the switch.
I really like Dr. Quinlan, although sometimes I feel a little rushed when trying to get through all my questions. I assume that's what makes the appointments be on time. I wish there were a few extra minutes to not feel so rushed, but overall she is great!
As I come to the end of my pregnancy, I wish we had seen Dr. Quinlan earlier. She was amazing! She put us at ease and showed concern and compassion re: our delivery concerns. We were truly disappointed to find out that if we did need to be induced that she was not available!
Dr. Quinlan has it all. She is an incredible doctor, smart, well read, up to date on recent research, explains things thoroughly. She is also exceptionally kind and caring. I can tell she genuinely cares about me as a person and wants to do everything she can to help me accomplish my goal (pregnancy!). She is also extremely flexible and accommodating. I trust her absolutely.
This was my first visit with Dr. Quinlan. I found her to be a highly intelligent doctor, with keen analytical skills and a comforting, gentle manner. She also has excellent listening skills, as she easily absorbed and patiently listened to a lot of information, as I explained my menopause journey. She has the ideal mix -- evidence-based medicine, while still being open-minded and flexible, honoring patient opinion. I feel very fortunate to have found this genuinely caring, good-hearted, and insightful doctor.
She is excellent. This visit, I didn't have concerns. We did the exam, discussed some medications and I was in and out--and that was exactly fitting for this visit. I also know that if I needed or wanted a longer discussion about anything, Dr. Q. would have been right on board with that. It's the best of both types of treatment--quick when all is ordinary and deeper if there's a need. That's so smart because probably there was someone else on that day who did need more time and hopefully since my visit was quick, they could get it...then when I need more of the doctor, I'll ask for it.
*Dr. Quinlan is extremely knowledgeable & has a great bedside manner. She listens to my concerns & answers my questions. If she doesn't know any answer, she knows exactly who to ask (which is huge - some health care providers, try to brush off questions when they don't know.
