At Northwestern Medicine, our patient’s feedback is important to us. While different care providers have their own unique strengths, we strive to be as transparent as possible with our quality of care.
I have always gotten excellent care from Dr. Pearson. Have followed her from previous location. Also, trust NW staff is helpful and courteous, facilities always clean. Feel confident of the care provided.
Dr. Pearson is kind and professional, and always explains things in a way that is easy to understand. I feel like she listens to me and doesn't discount the things I say, and she always provides several options for course of action.
Love my doctor and the other medical staff this time were great! Much improved customer service from staff than in past visits. Kudos to Chloe! The woman who drew my blood was great. Also the woman who was with Chloe for my shots was lovely.
I'm so fortunate to have Dr. Marilyn Pearson as my primary care physician. I have the highest regard for her both as a wonderful doctor and a beautiful person. I hope that she will continue to be an important part of Northwestern Medicine for years to come.
Dr. Pearson takes the time to listen, and have an actual conversation with you about any concerns. Not just talking at you. I definitely have anxiety around doctors appointments, but her bedside manner puts me immediately at ease.
I so appreciate my care from Dr. Marilyn Pearson. She is a careful listener and very thorough in her examination. Also, I wish to commend the overall pandemic-related measures taken by NM Internal Medicine for my lab visit and waiting room considerations.
I did not see Dr. Pearson. I saw the 2 Physician Assistants, Alexis D. and Robin S. They were wonderful. I'm an anxious older patient. They were so professional and warm and reassuring and knowledgeable and caring!!! I did not feel rushed which made a huge difference to me. Excellence!!! Thank you!!!
If one is not extremely careful one can find one's self pulled into a terriblesituation such as what happened to a close relative. It has been a situation that no one has experienced or can believe in this city or out of town!
One of the nurses I interacted with was not great at communicating procedures (e.g. next I'm going to take your blood pressure) or building rapport (e.g. the nurse wasn't friendly then in the initial assessment asked about mental health concerns, why would someone want to open up about mental health to someone who has barely said anything to them).
My dr., Marilyn Pearson is my main reason for my score. She is phenomenal! My only issue is w/making appointments - often takes longer than I'd wish for. But that she's in demand is understandable. Also, the lab technicians are very adept; I am a very hard-to-draw-blood-out-of patient but have not had any bad experiences at NW'ern's labs as I've had elsewhere.
I've been going here my whole adulthood (or its predecessors) and I've felt that every aspect is quite professional and thorough. The only negative that I can immediately think of is that the wait times are too long for phone calls.
Dr. Pearson is the kindest, most empathetic Dr. that I have encountered. She does still regularly push me when she feels it is needed. I had a serious health issue a number of years ago and ended up in the emergency room, and then admitted to a hospital she wasn't affiliated with twice, both times I was basically stabilized & released without finding the actual cause. When I was able to make it to Dr. Pearson, she immediately admitted me to her hospital where the actual (correct) diagnosis was made the same evening, I am not sure I would have survived if I hadn't made it to her. She has provided support & care that I have come to rely on. Again, the only negative is location, being disabled, her office in the loop without parking, presents a challenge for me.
I love my Dr. Dr. Pearson is the best, she always listens to everything I say. She's a terrific dr. Also I was impressed with the virus precautions. Also I never wait long to see her, and the office staff is also very nice.
Dr Pearson was her usual calming, reassuring self. She's been my doctor for more than 20 years and has never once given me questionable advice or wrong answers. I trust her completely, which I cannot say about other doctors. She's gotten me through various challenges with competence, patience and a sense of humor, and truly listens to what I feel and what's right for me as an aging individual.
De. Pearson is VERY knowledgeable and caring. She is thorough and ensures I understand what I am being told, and ensures I am referred to specialty doctors when needed and very personable. She makes sure my meds are verified and that my records are up to date as well. Whenever she decides to retire, I have no idea of who can replace her. Her bedside manner is impeccable! One of the best doctors I have ever had.
Dr Pearson never rushes you which is practically unheard of lately. She takes time to listen and is responsive. I trust her and feel she has my best interests in mind. She's extremely easy to talk to. I feel she cares about you as a person, not just as a patient.
I think Dr. Pearson is the best--a trusted medical expert who really listens to her patients' concerns and offers calm, clear perspective and advice. I always feel like I'm receiving great care when I see Dr. Pearson, and if a person can \look forward\" to their annual physical
Dr. Pearson is incredibly knowledgeable but also - and maybe more importantly - takes the time to listen and find solutions to chronic or challenging issues. She tells it like it is but with care and compassion.
Before having Dr. Pearson as my internal medicine physician, I had a more female doctor who did not listen to me and who I would NOT recommend. ..However Dr. Pearson is WONDERFUL. She listens to my concerns, is very thorough and treats me respectfully.
Very efficient, responsive practice..All medical professionals at NM are courteous, pleasant and informative..Dr. Marilyn Pearson is kind, patient,.well informed and makes me feel like a friend. She has all the qualities an m.d. should strive for.
No wait time and Dr. Pearson is so personable and caring. She takes as much time to listen to you and explains clearly what she thinks the causes of certain symptoms that you might be experiencing. Wonderful and empathetic doctor.
It's because Dr Pearson has the best bedside manner a physician could possibly have. She exudes professionalism, along with kindness and compassion which is very rare these days. Thank you for Dr Pearson whom I have recommended to many!
My Primary Care Provider is Dr Pearson. I appreciate her breadth of experience, alertness to deal with my trip to the Emergency Dept and checking on information from other providers, as well as her willingness to educate patients and frankness.
She is amazing. Not like any other doctor. Dr. Pearson takes the time to listen to you and get to know you so that she can make better health care decisions. I have never felt rushed by her which is unusual for a healthcare provider Additionally, she always responds to you in a timely manner.
Dr. Marilyn Pearson is my guardian angel and has been for more than 25 years. She is warm, understanding, a wonderful human being. She listens carefully, encourages with.warmth, caring and kindness and lays down the law with gentle certainty and has never let me down.
