5.0 star star star star starDr. Choi does an excellent job of explaining what is going on with my shoulder. He is patient, answers my questions, and explains everything so I can understand my progress. I wouldn't see anyone else for my shoulder.

5.0 star star star star starDr Choi took time to explain the issues and pains I had and then made sure I knew what to expect if I was to go down the surgery path. After I had chosen the surgery path, he made sure to make sure I was being taken care of properly for my after treatment and therapy. After a therapy incident, he called the therapy facility and told them they weren't following his protocol and also said that they needed to make sure they did or I would have major pain and possible injury. With his call and care for my treatment, the therapy started going better and because of his time and care, my healing progression really took off for the positive. After days of unwanted pain from the therapy, this was a blessing to see a doctor care and actually do something to help his patient.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Choi is a "teacher" at heart. He took the time to explain my situation in detail and carefully listened to what I had to say. His approach to my care made sense and although this was my first experience in his office, he instilled confidence in me and I know I can return, if needed, to a doctor who takes his patient seriously.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
