5.0 star star star star starHe took the time to really get to know me and my history, was thorough in his exam, and explained everything precisely and clearly. He even wheeled me out to the waiting room when we were down by himself. All in all he spent over an hour and a half with me. When is the last time you can say a doctor did that with you?

5.0 star star star star starDr Zhang was very personable and took time to listen to my symptoms and explain test results that had not been explained by the initial doctor (from a different organization) who ordered the testing. I have a rare condition and it has been a long road to find a doctor who would listen and come up with a plan. Very satisfied with this visit! I am a nurse at a busy family practice office that makes a lot of referrals- I will definitely tell our providers to send people here.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Zhang is a skillful and intelligent neurologist. He is truly professional and took the necessary time with me to understand and diagnosis my condition. I can tell he truly cares about his patients and the outcomes. Dr. Zhang worked with me to come up with an excellent plan of care. He explained things to me in a very concise and clear way, and actually, this is the first time I truly understood my condition. It's clear he keeps abreast of advancements in his field, and I'm so happy I met this wonderful doctor. Thank you.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
