5.0 star star star star starShe is a great listener, seeks to understand my concerns and questions, provides good counsel, and approaches me as a whole person. I especially appreciate that she is not afraid to say that she doesn't know the answer or that field guidance isn't fully settled. She conveys confidence and authority while remaining curious and humbled about the current limits of science and medicine.

5.0 star star star star starI gave Dr. Dorina Feher a 10 because there simply wasn't a higher number available. Over the past three months, she has been more than a doctor to me_she has been a lifeline. I've walked into her office carrying not just the weight of my physical health challenges, but the invisible weight of stress, anxiety, and the cultural reality of being a Black man who has not always felt safe or fully seen in the healthcare system. What Dr. Feher and her care team have given me is beyond treatment_it is dignity, safety, and hope. From the very first visit, she made me feel that my voice mattered and that my health was worth fighting for. She listens with patience, explains with clarity, and cares with a gentleness that is rare in this world. Her compassion extends past prescriptions and test results; it reaches into the human part of healing that so many overlook. Her team reflects that same spirit_every interaction reminds me that I am not just a number in a chart, but a person who deserves care, respect, and encouragement. Because of her, I no longer walk into a doctor's office with hesitation or guardedness. I walk in knowing I am safe, I am heard, and I am valued. That is not just healthcare_it is healing in its truest form. Dr. Feher and her team have helped me carry burdens I thought I had to carry alone, and for that, I will be forever grateful. They have changed not just the course of my health, but the way I experience what it means to be cared for.

5.0 star star star star starProfessional and personable. Gives the impression that she is concerned about your well-being and actively listens respectfully to the client/patient. She does not seem to have that "I'm the doctor" type attitude.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Fehrer was thorough and knowledgeable. She treated me like an intelligent person that could handle information and decision making. Not many physicians are able to achieve that level of humanity. She was nonjudgmental but pushed back when she had questions or concerns. She listened to my concerns and took them seriously.

5.0 star star star star starI was happy with the annual check up I have received. I appreciate that the doctor asked about my mental state, even though I'm not sure about getting counseling. Last year, I was able to get a telehealth appt when I caught COVID and got good counseling.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
