5.0 star star star star starDr. Taheerah Muhammad - Reed was incredible. She was patient, curious, kind, and compassionate. I did not feel rushed at all and felt like Katie took the time to get to know me and understand the medical concerns I had. She offered multiple avenues of treatment & talked through the side effects in a clear and direct manner. She showed me the reliable trusted source that NM uses for their patients which really impressed me, because I wanted to know where I as a patient could find the best information. I really felt cared for and am so so so grateful!

5.0 star star star star starThe ease of which I arrived, was addressed on my 1st visit which was with warmth and professionalism from the initial registration, the kindness of the nurse who took my vitals and my brand new warm-n-wonderful, inquisitive-n- thorough, knowledgeable-n-informative PCP was the best and most efficient (30 minutes) of my medical adult life.

5.0 star star star star starDr Reed is extremely kind and caring. She is very informative and explains everything where I can truly understand. Dr. Muhammad-Reed is so easy to talk you. I feel really good leaving my appointment because she takes her time with me and I never feel rushed or invisible. I can tell she really cares and loves being a Doctor. This is the best experience I've ever had with a primary care doctor. I am so happy she is my primary care physician. Also, I recommended her to my daughter and family. Thank you.

5.0 star star star star starI had a very good experience with Dr Muhammad-Reed and her nurse. I found her to be very informative and feel she listened to me, and gave me good advice. It has been a while since I had a physician that was not just going through the motions. I have not been this comfortable with my doctor in many years which is part of the reason for not having a primary physician before now. Finally I have a primary physician for preventive long term care instead of using urgent care.

5.0 star star star star starI feel like she seems as a person. I like that she listened to me, and asked if I was ok with her medical decisions. She is not an advocate of medicine which I absolutely love. She is searching for an answer to my chronic cough, and not just dispensing meds. Love her approach.

5.0 star star star star starShe took time to listen to me, and seems concerned about my personal health. Loved that she had gone further than handing me a prescription. She has ordered tests to see why I've been coughing for months.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
