5.0 star star star star starRachel rebandaged my arms which had wounds from a spine surgery I had at Northwestern a few days before. Shevtaught my husband and me what supplies I needed and how to rebandage the wounds at home.

5.0 star star star star starShe was extremely professional while still being efficient. I could tell the urgent care was busy when I came in, but she still heard all my concerns and I left feeling like I got the care I needed thanks to Rachel and the incredible tech Alton.

5.0 star star star star starShe came in very calm and professional, she asked my daughter if she wanted things explained to her and then respected my daughter's decision. She took care of the injury promptly and carefully while also making sure my daughter was okay.

5.0 star star star star starRachel carefully explained the next steps, gave me the necessary caveats for soft tissue resolution on an X ray, shared the reading and referred me to the specialist. I could ask for nothing more from urgent care.

5.0 star star star star starVisited a few days ago. Check-in was smooth and I was seen quickly. The PA listened, explained next steps, and I left with a clear plan that helped. She was able to advocate for me to get CT-scanned immediately given her understanding of my injury. What didn't land for me was the bedside manner, it felt a bit clipped and not very calming, which mattered given how anxious I felt. If the team can pair their efficiency with a touch more empathy (simple check-ins like 'How are you feeling?' or 'This can be stressful'), the experience would be excellent.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
