5.0 star star star star starHe was extremely knowledgeable, caring, and attentive. He gave me a cold compress for my head and a whole list of things I can do to improve my symptoms (this is so helpful, considering I'm pregnant and can't do much in terms of medication). I truly wish I could have him every time I visit urgent care! Thank you!!!

5.0 star star star star starJames was so informative and very helpful! He explained all the possibilities for my red eye and when he knew my pharmacy was closed for the day he searched for samples he could maybe give me to put on my eye starting that night. He really went above and beyond.

5.0 star star star star starHe was great. I tried explaining my symptoms while not feeling well. He listened to everything I said and came up with solutions to try. He prescribed a couple different prescriptions and administered a medication that settled my stomach down. I left feeling somewhat better and now several days later I'm feeling quite a bit better.

5.0 star star star star starHe was excellent. He spent time asking about my injury, where it hurt and what made the pain worse or better. He ordered X-rays then reviewed the X-rays with me. He included me in decisions regarding my plan of care. He made a referral to ortho for follow up. Asked if I wanted crutches. He was very thorough and very compassionate

5.0 star star star star starKnowledge, caring, kind, efficient. Second, I had X-rays of my very painful shoulder. The tech was gentle and helpful at getting me into proper positions. Believe me - I know the difference that can make.

5.0 star star star star starJim came off as non-threatening, non-judgmental and overall very caring, especially meeting for the first time. He offered several options for relief and took the time to answer all my questions. I think what stands out the most was, I felt like Jim and I were on the same Team Kirk, wanting to get me better but following the proper channels, having the radiologist read my scans and determine whether or not I need antibiotics. Jim earned my trust immediately.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
