5.0 star star star star starI think that the doctor has a great work ethic and he wants to assist his patient with the best care possible within his reach , he does help you to understand what his profession is and how much he can do with whatever else your situation could be by way of referrals.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Urday is a one-in-a-million M.D. He is most knowledgeable and caring.... You must be really proud and happy to have him on staff. He called me from South America on a holiday to make sure I had the results of some testing. The "10" rating should be "100"!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Urday focused on me and on explaining issues I was having. He had a plan and was patient with my questions and gave complete explanations. On my first visit with him he had medical students with him (assistants?) and although that visit was also very good, I felt not as connected with him on a personal basis. This time was a bit different and I appreciated the focus on me. He showed compassion and concern and gave some additional advice on a better diet - not to lose weight, but to eat better, make better food choices. All visits were more than satisfactory.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Urday was very accommodating, attentive, and detail oriented. I appreciate the time he took to listen, and develop a very comprehensive plan of action. He even went as far as to follow up days after the visit. You don't ever see that type of care nowadays. Highly recommended!

5.0 star star star star starThis was the first major health issue I have had and I was incredibly impressed by the care and service I received from NW in general and Neurology specifically. Since the care was lackluster locally, my wife insisted that we travel downtown to NW. Once I was admitted through ER, I received expert care. They ruled an issue out and moved in another team until they determined the cause of my symptoms. I have a great deal of respect for the NW system.

5.0 star star star star starI saw Dr. Urday as a new patient for stroke-related continuing care and to identify/treat a new problem. He was thorough and thoughtful in reviewing tests and imaging results, provided in-depth explanations and answers to my questions, and is clearly extremely knowledgeable in his chosen field. I look forward to having him on my medical team at NMF for many years.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
